Victorian Gadgets

There is a man by the name of Maurice Collins who has ammassed over 15,000 gadgets/objects that were made from 1950 - 1951.   You can read his story and see more of these fab devices at Victoriangadgets.com.  

It might interest the reader to try to guess what each of these gadgets was used for.  The answer key is below.

  1. It's interesting to see how they've conceptualized devices such as burglar alarms way back in the Victorian era. As you can see though, security standards have gone up, but so have the degrees of criminal activity.
