Arthur's Seat Coffins

These are awesome!  And as you will see, they are possibly related to the subjects of an earlier post on grave robbers Burke and Hare (two postings down).

  3. I found something strangely similar to these little coffins in a box lot at an auction of items from the U.K. It is a small coffin and when you slide the lid open to one side you find a rude carved wooden replica of Hitler. The coffin is about 4 inches long and about an inch wide. His name is written on the lid with the date 1946. Very unusual.
